Jerry Coons, Jr., ran a mixed bag of Sprint Car, Midget and Silver Crown events in 2003, picking up a Badger Midget win at Angell Park on July 27 and a USAC Ford Focus win at Indiana's Lincoln Park on June 7.

Coons has made the starting grid for three of the last five Chili Bowl Nationals finales.  Coons will be seeking to improve upon his best outing thus far, a seventh place run in 1999.
