2004 Chili Bowl Results:

After his second NAMARS Kenyon MidgetCar championship and Kokomo Speedway sprint car Rookie of the Year honors at just 14 years of age in 2003, Clauson made a full assault on the Indiana wingless Sprint Car scene in 2004, finishing among the top three more than half the time in 40 starts.

Scored a half dozen feature wins, with a pair at Lawrenceburg and single wins at Kokomo, Paragon, Bloomington and Lincoln Park.

Runner-up in points at Bloomington and seventh in points at Lawrenceburg and Rookie of the Year at both tracks.

Collected a checkered flag in his first Chili Bowl competition by winning a heat on his qualifying night, then after a B Feature flip, climbed from an F Feature to a D Main on Saturday.
