Now 15 years old, Bolton made just his second career Midget start in the '05 Chili Bowl after moving up from the micro ranks.

In his first full season of Midget racing, Bolton earned a fourth place ranking in Arizona Midget Racing Association (AMRA) points in 2005.

Bolton finished among the top ten six times in nine feature starts, including runner-up showings at Prescott Valley on June 18 and Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix on August 20.
