First Chili Bowl Appearance

California's Travis Berryhill will be among this year's rookie class at the Chili Bowl Nationals.

After winning Bay Cities Racing Association (BCRA) Rookie of the Year honors in 2002, Berryhill contended for the BCRA Midget title in 2003 before settling for a strong third place finish in the final standings.

Berryhill captured his first career Midget feature victory in 2003, topping the BCRA field at Lakeport (CA) Speedway on June 7.  Berryhill had seven other top-five runs in BCRA competition in 2003, including a runner-up showing at Eureka, CA.
